Organizational Response to the “Productivity Enhancement Programme (PEP)”

With the implementation of the “Productivity Enhancement Programme (PEP)” in the 2024-25 Budget of the HKSAR Government, organizations receiving subsidies from the Social Welfare Department are facing challenges due to budget cuts. Nonetheless, this situation presents an opportunity for collaboration between The Hong Kong Council of Social Service(HKCSS) and these organizations. The HKCSS remains committed to its mission and actively supports the industry in navigating these challenges collectively. Upholding its mission, the HKCSS actively supports the industry in navigating these challenges collectively. We will maintain close ties with the government, advocate sector recommendations, and host various events such as seminars and networking sessions, focusing on financial management, human resource allocation, and service development to facilitate knowledge sharing and experience exchange. The platform will continuously update relevant resources and materials to support organizations in enhancing resource efficiency and strengthening their ability to respond to challenges, achieving sustainable development.
