Throughout the years, the social welfare sector has accumulated valuable experience in rendering timely, responsive and effective services to meet community needs. By presenting the Best Practice Awards, we hope to salute and encourage best practices, demonstrate the contribution of social welfare to the well-being of the society, and to encourage mutual learning within the sector.

The Awards has been organized every alternate year since 2003. With enthusiastic responses received from the sector in the past few years. Therefore, the Awards will be continued for promoting the best practice among the sector this year. Prior to the programme, the Gold Award Winners’ Sharing cum Best Practice Workshop will be held on 26 March 2021 at 2:30pm. Two winners of the 2019 Best Practice Gold Award have been invited to share their experience. Dr. AU Kit-ying from The DO School Asia will share on the topic “To Be An Innovative Changemaker”. She will introduce how to identify pain points of social issues, and apply innovative solutions to create greater social impacts.
