To guard against such threats and protect their reputation, NGOs should conduct due diligence check to “know your donors”, “know your partners” and “know your beneficiaries” when accepting donations and deploying resources. For our agency members to better understand the potential legal risks in raising and using funds, including crowdfunding, we have invited legal experts to share at a webinar on the good practices of anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing.
