Workshop 1: Strategic Digital Leadership Workshop: Building a Digital Transformation and Investment Framework In the new era of AI, digital transformation is now central to organisational efficiency and service effectiveness in the social sector. However, every NGO faces unique challenges arising from resource allocations, transitions of historical systems, and people change management. How can leaders assess where they stand, identify gaps, and invest strategically for impact? What frameworks can guide leaders in balancing innovation, infrastructure, and integration without overstretching resources? This workshop, led by Empact, a social consulting firm with regional expertise in Singapore and China, invites participants to understand digital leadership through structured reflection and guided exercises. Beginning with a Tech Needs Assessment, leaders will explore how to align digital strategies with organisational readiness. Group discussions by agency size will foster peer learning and contextual insights, while participants will be inspired by Empacts part-time Chief Technology Officer (CTO) services. By the end of the workshop, participants will gain clarity on their organisation’s digital maturity and build the foundation for an actionable roadmap.
