Do you have any innovative ideas that address poverty and social exclusion in Hong Kong? The fund provides funding and other forms of support to help launch impactful social projects into the market. It aims to foster social inclusion and leverage the potential of these projects.

The Impact Incubator of The Hong Kong Council of Social Service, an intermediary of the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund (SIE Fund) cordially invites all current and aspiring social innovators and social entrepreneurs to join our upcoming Impact Incubator briefing session. During the session, our team will briefly introduce the new Impact Incubator, highlight key programme features and answer any questions you may have about applying for SIE Fund grant funding through the Impact Incubator. The Impact Incubator continues to support projects at different stages – Scale-up, Growing, and Start-up. We hope to support innovative projects in their continuous progress and “promote” them to a larger scale, creating broader and more far-reaching social impact!

SIE Fund was established by the Commission on Poverty in 2012 to foster cross-sector collaboration, facilitate knowledge exchange, guide resources toward grooming and coaching entrepreneurs. The fund also aims to incubate and implement new ideas, with the expectation that some will evolve into new, sustainable businesses that help tackle poverty and social exclusion in the community. Moreover, the SIE Fund is strengthening its collaboration with the government in taking forward the strategy of “Targeted Poverty Alleviation”*, focusing on tackling pressing poverty issues and meeting the needs of vulnerable groups.
