Co-organised by The Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and The Hong Kong Council of Social Service, the 9th annual Gerontech and Innovation Expo cum Summit (GIES) will take place from 20-23 November 2025 (Thursday to Sunday) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
GIES strives to enhance public awareness and education about gerontechnology by introducing local, mainland and overseas innovative gerontech products and services. The 9th Expo will continue to feature thematic exhibition booths, forums and workshops, showcasing the latest innovations and ideas for better living and health of service users and caregivers, as well as providing visitors with a first-hand experience of gerontech products and services, and an interactive platform for various stakeholders to engage in dialogue and collaboration for the broader adoption of Gerontech.
We cordially invite members to join us at this largest gerontech public education event in Hong Kong.
Participation 1: Exhibitor Application
(1) Organisations can apply individually and display their exhibits in a standard booth or a raw space. All confirmed exhibitors are entitled to get a full rental waiver except for electricity and booth decoration.
(2) A Special Corner is to be set up for organisations to demonstrate application programmes or information websites for elders, people with disabilities, or caregivers to promote service solutions to the general public. We will set aside resources and provide an exhibition kiosk with individual display boards to participating organisations (organisations must provide the design files) and one notebook tablet on-site. Each participating organisation may arrange a maximum of two helpers per day.

Participation 2: Group Visit
Due to the large number of attendees during the exhibition period, and in order to ensure the health and safety of participants, the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre will implement crowd control measures when necessary. We recommend that all attending groups register in advance. Please complete the online group visit reservation form on or before 30 September 2025, to facilitate headcount estimation.
To avoid the gathering of crowds, the organizer encourages groups to enter during off-peak hours*. Please note that no free parking arrangements will be provided on the event day. All rehabilitation buses, minibuses, and tour coaches should use the drop-off/pick-up point at the Expo Drive entrance.
*Off-peak hours:
– 20 November 2025: 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
– 21-23 November 2025: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
