今年中秋,我們於新城市廣場舉行「Give Me Five社企嘉年華」,今次嘉年華由新城市廣場提供場地,香港青山獅子會合辦,超過10間本地社企開市集,熱賣中秋應節食品及多元化本地手作產品。大家可以購物之餘,亦可以用消費支持社企,一齊歡渡中秋。 一連三日,於9月 19日起至 21日期間,「Give Me Five社企嘉年華」帶來超過10間本地社企,會提供一系列中秋應節食品同多元化本地手作產品,例如低糖健康月餅、慈善義賣月餅,亦都有手工烘焙食品如曲奇、雪花酥等,還有一系列推廣環保生活概念及手工製作主題精品,令你耳目一新,過一個與眾不同的中秋。 另外,有幾間社企亦精心設計不同親子工作坊,小朋友同大人都可以參加,名額有限,歡迎大家19至21日到場支持! Invitation for joining HKCSS’ Impact Incubator special cohort – “Mental Health and Well-being” related innovative projects application briefing session

As an Intermediary of the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund since 2015, the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) launches Impact Incubator – a one-stop supporting platform to support and incubate social innovative projects from various stages including late prototype, start up, growing and scale up. Until now, we have supported over 140 social innovation projects. Well-being and mental health have become issues of concern, especially under the COVID-19 pandemic and the uncertain economic environment. In response to this emerging need, HKCSS’ Impact Incubator is calling for a special cohort that aims to address mental health and well-being issues amongst local youth, elderly and other disadvantaged groups in Hong Kong. The projects should also relate to poverty alleviation, prevention or social inclusion. The special cohort’s details are summarised below: Eligibility Organisations (e.g. tax-exempted organisations, societies) registered in Hong Kong Companies (limited by guarantee or limited by shares) registered in Hong Kong. 第六屆「認知障礙症家庭照顧者身心健康專業證書課程」(GIFTCare) (2022年1月開課)現正接受報名

Invitation to participate in the research salon on ‘Housing Choice and Service Needs of the low-income households of Sub-divided units (SDU)’

Our Council has been organizing ‘Evidence-based Practice Social Work Research Salons’ which aims to share the social work studies with practitioners in the sector and relevant stakeholders. In addition to discussing approach and design of research on social development or community well-being, the research salon aims to exchange how relevant research can inspire policy and service development. In the captioned research salon, we are going to share the main findings of the “Survey on the Housing Choice and Service Needs of the low-income Households of Sub-divided units (SDU) “released on 4th July (Click to download ppt) of the Counci.  The invited case speakers will share local SDU community service programmes. Group discussion sessions will be arranged for participants to explore the service needs of the SDU community, and to co-develop services that meet the needs of the community.
