Our Council has been organizing ‘Evidence-based Practice Social Work Research Salons’ which aims to share the social work studies with practitioners in the sector and relevant stakeholders. In addition to discussing approach and design of research on social development or community well-being, the research salon aims to exchange how relevant research can inspire policy and service development.
In the captioned research salon, we are going to share the main findings of the “Survey on the Housing Choice and Service Needs of the low-income Households of Sub-divided units (SDU) “released on 4th July (Click to download ppt) of the Counci. The invited case speakers will share local SDU community service programmes. Group discussion sessions will be arranged for participants to explore the service needs of the SDU community, and to co-develop services that meet the needs of the community.
