The Council will launch the first cohort of “NGO Changemakers Incubation Scheme”, and agency members are cordially invited to participate in the coming briefing session. In view of the changes of socio-economic context in the recent years, social problems have become increasingly complex. In planning and implementing services, organizations often need to apply innovative thinking and build cross-sectoral networks in order to engender greater impact. This project aims to enable NGO colleagues in "network building" and "co-creation", so as to facilitate organization’s internal development. This project use ‘Design Thinking’ as the learning framework and ‘Food X Social Inclusion" as the theme. Through a range of activities such as "Design Thinking Bootcamp" and the "Cross-Sectoral Internship", we hope to incubate a group of ‘NGO changemakers’. Hong Kong society is rapidly ageing.  As super-aged society is just around the corner, the entire society has to get ready to respond.  The new administration of HKSAR government should also proactively lead all stakeholders of the society to plan and get prepared. i. Open for Application The Enhancing Self-Reliance Through District Partnership Programme (ESR Programme) is a funding scheme supporting setting and scaling up of social enterprises. Each SE project is funded at a maximum amount of $3 million for 3 years. The funded social enterprise projects - (i)　should provide job opportunities, products and/or services aiming at helping the self-reliance and social integration of the socially disadvantaged; and (ii)　are expected to become commercially sustainable following the funding period. We welcome applications from organisations which are tax-exempt under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (IRO) (i.e. Section 88 Organisations) as well as from non-profit making organisations or social enterprises, which have operated for 1 year or more.
