The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS), in partnership with HKEX Foundation, has set up the HKEX Impact Funding Scheme. The Scheme supports non-subvented local charitable institutions to undertake new services/ideas or enhance their current services focusing on the four focus areas of HKEX Foundation, i.e. Financial Literacy, Diversity and Inclusion, Poverty Relief and Environmental Sustainability, serving a wide spectrum of people in need in our community and addressing social and environmental challenges of the society.

The Scheme will be opened for online applications from 1 November to 1 December 2023 (5pm).
Eligibility
Local Charitable Institutions that
- Registered under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (Cap 112);
- Do not receive government’s regular subvention (Except the funding for project-based services and services awarded by the way of bidding); and
- Provide charitable services to local communities in Hong Kong
Fund Size
The fund size for each proposed project should range from HKD500,000 to HKD1,000,000.
Duration of Each Project
The duration of each proposed project should be within 12 months. (Starting from 1 June 2024 at the earliest and to be completed on or before 31 May 2025, each project can have 2 months for preliminary preparation before the project starts)
