In recent years, our society has been thinking about how to set up a carer-centred policy to support carers. The Council is now conducting “Study on the Respite Needs of Carers”, focusing on the needs of carers of elderly and persons with disability (including carers of pre-school and school-aged children with disability). We would like to invite your organization to help recruit and assist service users of your organization and service units to participate in the study. The data collection period will be extended to 31 March of 2021.
Target: Unpaid carers who are providing continuous care to elderly or persons with disability currently (People who provide continuous care due to voluntary work or training are excluded.)
Ways of Participation in the Study: We strongly recommend the carers to take part in the study through (1) telephone interview. If the carers do not hope to conduct telephone interview, he/ she may take part in the study by (2) web-based self-administered questionnaire (available only in Chinese).
- Application For Participating In Telephone Interview: Workers may invite or assist the carers to access to https://zh.surveymonkey.com/r/DT6P8PK to leave their contacts. Afterwards, our interviewers will contact the carers and conduct the telephone survey directly on phone during the available timeslot indicated.
- Web-based Self-administered Questionnaire (Available in Chinese only): Workers may help carers (who are proficient in written Chinese) to click this link https://zh.surveymonkey.com/r/MQTJS9S to conduct the online questionnaire.
