We have come to the last episode of “Tung Chung Folks Telling Tung Chung Stories”. In this episode, Bowie tells you about his everyday life in Tung Chung. From the view of Bowie, the community of Tung Chung is no doubt short of facilities. There isn’t even a sports ground having a standard running track. Shortage of facilities aside, there are many NGOs providing services to the residents. They also provide platform for residents to participate and explore themselves and their community. Bowie shares his experience in being volunteer in an NGO. While helping to meet the needs of others, witnessing changes in them, he has found that the beneficiaries themselves are having many talents in effecting changes themselves. More importantly, Bowie has discovered a new career aspiration through his community participation.
