This episode is the second story of “Tung Chung Folks Telling Tung Chung Stories”. An Indian participant of the “Building Community, Building Tung Chung” Project, Aarti brings you to the Tung Chung community and lets you know her everyday life in Tung Chung.  As a new arrival, she shows how she could still enjoy their traditional festivals in Tung Chung.  While adapting to the new environment, she has actively participated in the community.  Aarti has been a volunteer at Playright Children’s Play Association. As the play facilitator, Aarti acts as the bridge between EM and local Chinese kids, facilitating their communication. The volunteering experience in the community has also helped Aarti to pursue her career development dream.  Now, she is happily working at an early childhood centre. Despite there are areas which Tung Chung may improve, she generally enjoys living in the community.
