The Hong Kong Medical Association Charitable Foundation (the Foundation) will be holding “The HKMA 100th Anniversary Charity Concert” at the Concert Hall, Hong Kong City Hall on Sunday, 21 June 2020.  Related expenses of the concert will be borne by the Hong Kong Medical Association.  All funds raisedwithout any deductionwill be donated to a registered charitable organization (the beneficiary) for charitable project that helps alleviate the sufferings of the underprivileged.  The charity concert should be considered as a platform for the beneficiary to seek donations from their own connection.  For this reason, all applicants will be expected to have their list of potential major donors on hand at the time of application. The Foundation will through publicity appeal to the medical profession and the general public for donation.  In the past, donations collected through our concerts ranged from around HK$0.2 million to over 1.5 million, depending on the public’s perception and awareness of the project.  To know more, please visit the website of the Foundation www.hkmacf.org.
