HKCSS has been actively promoting sharing and exchange of overseas experience, practical knowledge and information to introduce good practices and the latest global welfare developments. One way we facilitate this is by regularly organizing overseas events, which provide valuable opportunities for our Agency Members to learn from the practical experiences around the world. These events help to broaden perspectives, foster knowledge sharing, and promote best practices in the field of social services. We believe that these exchanges are essential for promoting innovation and advancing the quality of social services in Hong Kong.
In the upcoming year of 2023/24, the Social Welfare Department will be sponsoring staff from our Agency Members to attend the following overseas events. The sponsorship will cover 50% of the estimated cost for each delegate. Applications for sponsorship of each overseas event will be open 2-3 months prior to the event start date.
