Future-Ready Together: Integrating Talent, Tech, and Transformation – Insights from Singapore
With the support of The Community Chest of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) sponsored sector representatives to attend the Social Service Summit in Singapore in early July. The delegation also visited local social service organizations to learn from their valuable experiences in digital transformation and talent development, as well as how they overcame various challenges during the process. HKCSS is honored to invite SHINE Children and Youth Services, one of the organizations we visited during the study tour, to share their valuable experience in digital transformation with the sector. During our visit, we were deeply impressed by SHINE's digital journey—the initiatives they have undertaken and the tangible impacts their efforts have made within their organization. In addition, representatives from the delegation will reflect on the key insights gained from the visit to Singapore, including their perspectives on what it means to be future-ready in terms of talent development, technology application, and organizational culture. We are also pleased to have the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong to share how overseas exposure has inspired their staff to embrace change and drive their organization toward becoming digitally ready for the future. In 2024/25, the Social Welfare Department and the Community Chest will be sponsoring staff from our Agency Members to attend the following overseas events.
