Membership Liaison and Service
Officer (Ref No: HKCSS/043/2025)
One-year renewable contract
The Officer will play a key role in facilitating the growth and development of small non-profit organizations. The primary focus is to support capacity building through fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement among small NGOs, enabling them to enhance their organizational foundations and community impact.
Responsibilities:
- Manage communications and outreach to promote the scheme on capacity building program to small NGOs.
- Conduct assessments through interviews, surveys, and focus groups to identify common needs and challenges faced by small NGOs on sustainable organizational growth and effective service delivery.
- Coordinate and facilitate learning and exchange activities to encourage knowledge exchange and mutual support among small NGOs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with small NGO representatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the capacity building program, collecting feedback and implementing improvements.
- Prepare reports and documentation to inform program development and stakeholder engagement.
- Support the development of initiatives that promote sustainable organizational growth and effective service delivery within small NGOs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, social sciences, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with non-profit organizations, preferably with small NGOs or in capacity-building roles.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience facilitating group discussions and workshops and building rapport with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with nonprofit operation and central administration functions such as finance, HR, fundraising, and compliance is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
5-day work per week. 21-day annual leave.
