The poverty situation in Hong Kong is alarming. Particularly, the difficult situation faced by grassroots children has been one of the major issues of concern of the sector. Poverty has brought many negative effects on children’s lives. How the sector can strengthen support for them is a topic worthy of discussion.
In order to facilitate practitioners and interested groups to discuss this topic, the HKCSS will organize a seminar on “Practice and Innovation for Supporting Underprivileged Children”, inviting social welfare organizations and concerned groups to share their experience of responding to the need of grassroots children, so as to explore the way out with the participants.
