Beneficiary application with a maximum funding amount of HK$500,000 is now open until mid-December for
Walk For A Vision 2020, a charitable walkathon to be organised by HKSH Village Volunteers  on 29 March 2020.

 

The funding project/programme should be medical service related. Interested parties are required to submit a funding proposal (Please click to download “Beneficiary Application Form”) to [email protected]  by 17 December 2019. Application Criteria:

1. Applicant should be a non-profit charitable organisations registered in Hong Kong and exempt from tax under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance.

2. The raised fund should be designated to a medical service related project/programme.

3. Proposal should include project objectives, target group, plan and description, sustainability, budget, etc.

4. Proposal can be in Chinese or English.

 

HKSH Village Volunteers was formed by staff of HKSH Medical Group including medical and general staff of Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital, HKSH Healthcare and HKSH Eastern Medical Centre, as well as students/alumni of HKSH School of Nursing, and retired staff. Established 10 years ago, the volunteer group has become an approved charitable organisation since July 2018.

 

HKSH Village Volunteers has organised and taken part in various community and fundraising activities to promote the health and wellness of people in Hong Kong. “Walk For A Vision”, a charitable walkathon, is one of the signature events organised by the Village Volunteers and the annual event has so far raised over HKD5.8 million for 10 different beneficiaries.
