i. Open for Application
The Enhancing Self-Reliance Through District Partnership Programme (ESR Programme) is a funding scheme supporting setting and scaling up of social enterprises. Each SE project is funded at a maximum amount of $3 million for 3 years.

The funded social enterprise projects –
(i) should provide job opportunities, products and/or services aiming at helping the self-reliance and social integration of the socially disadvantaged; and
(ii) are expected to become commercially sustainable following the funding period.

We welcome applications from organisations which are tax-exempt under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (IRO) (i.e. Section 88 Organisations) as well as from non-profit making organisations or social enterprises, which have operated for 1 year or more.

Phase 33 Application of the ESR Programme will be closed on 31 August 2022. Detailed information about eligibility, application procedures, application form and Guide to ESR Programme can be found in the webpage of ESR Programme.
