Gathering IT Job Demands to Encourage Tech Talent to Make a Difference in the Social Welfare Sector

Cyberport, with the support of The Hong Kong Council of Social Service(HKCSS), is hosting the “Cyberport Career Fair 2023” for two consecutive days from March 24 to 25, 2023 (both physically and virtual) with over 1,000 technology talents expected to attend. As the social welfare sector undergoes digital transformation, the demand for information technology in social services has been increasing, from service delivery and membership systems, to innovative service development. HKCSS will set up a booth at the event to promote the demand for application of technology in social services and provide information on current job vacancies to technology talents. We cordially invite your organization or service unit to provide relevant job vacancy information to us on or before March 17, 2023 (Friday) so that we can promote it at our booth. There is no need for your organization to send representatives to the event, and the service is free of charge.

HKCSS will consolidate all the collected job vacancies and create a list for job seekers to download via QR code at the event. Information Technology Resource Centre, HKCSS will provide brief information to job seekers on general social welfare-related job positions and their career development, based on the information provided by the organizations. Specific job details and interview arrangements will be handled directly between the recruiting organization and job seekers. The Centre will not handle any personal data documents such as resumes in this connection.
