To foster knowledge sharing and exchange among social service agencies on leveraging evidence-based research to drive social services, HKCSS now cordially invites agency members to participate in the 2026 “Evidence-Based Practice” Research Findings Collection Scheme for the Social Welfare Sector, building knowledge co-created through practice within the sector. The gathered research findings will be utilized for:
1. Analyzing and Sharing the Characteristics and Situation of Evidence-Based Practice in the Sector in order to further promote practice research mindset in future.
2. Acknowledging the participating agencies’ professional contribution in supporting Evidence-Based Practice in Social Service Sector at the 2027 Policy Research and Advocacy Conference
Target Audience : Agencies members and social service practitioners
Coverage Period : Research outputs published between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2026
Eligible Research Categories :
1. Data analysis reports,
2. Evidence-Based Practice Research (EBP),
3. Social Impact Assessments (SIA), and
4. Other relevant social service research reports
Required Information:
1 .Agency name and contact details of the research lead
2. Research title, aim, target group, data collection methods, and values
3. Web links to the research output (e.g., press release, research brief, or full report etc.)
Form Open Period : From now until January 15, 2027 (Fri)
Following the final deadline, HKCSS will organize full-year 2026 data and analyze sector-wide research outcomes spanning 2024 to 2026.
Interested agencies and colleagues are invited to complete the online submission form on or before January 15, 2027 (Fri).
