The 75^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and election of members of the Executive Committee (2022-2024) and Standing Committees (2022-2023) of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service will be held on November 25, 2022 (Friday) at the Auditorium, 1/F, Duke of Windsor Social Service Building, 15 Hennessy Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong. The program of the event is listed below:

1. 75^th Annual General Meeting 

Enclosed please find the agenda of the 75^th AGM (Appendix 1) and minutes of the 74^th AGM (Appendix 2). In case you are unable to attend the AGM, you may consider appointing a proxy by completing and returning the Letter of Proxy (Appendix 3) to the Council no later than 2:30 pm, November 22, 2022. Late returns of proxy forms and those submitted at the AGM will not be accepted.

In view of the epidemic situation of the COVID 19, only pre-registered Life Members, Official Representatives of Agency Members or their representatives with authorized proxies and invited guests can attend this year’s AGM. If the number of registered participants is more than the seating capacity of the Auditorium, some participants will watch the AGM on a live stream in other meeting rooms.

Pursuant to the Prevention and Control of Disease (Vaccine Pass) Regulation (Cap. 599L), attendees of this year’s AGM are required to scan the “LeaveHomeSafe” QR code and present their Electronic Vaccination Record /Medical Exemption Certifi­cate / Recovery Record /Provisional Vaccine Pass QR code for scanning.

2. Election of the Executive Committee (2022-2024) and Standing Committees (2022-2023)

The nomination for the Election of the Executive Committee and Standing Committees has been closed. List of Candidates of the Election of the Executive Committee (2022-2024) and Standing Committees (2022-2023).

Life Members, Official Representatives of Agency Members with their names in the Membership Register as of November 22, 2022 and duly authorized proxies are requested to register at the reception counter and collect the ballots from 2:00 pm. Voting shall commence upon declaration of the opening of the AGM at 2:30 pm. No ballots will be issued starting from 3:25 pm. The polling station will be closed at 3:35 pm.

Notices on change of Official Representatives must reach the Council in specified forms no later than 2:30 pm, November 22, 2022 so that newly appointed representatives will be eligible to vote in the Election on behalf of their agencies.

3. Result of the Election of Specialized Committees (2022-2023 & 2022-2024)

The Election of Specialized Committees has been completed. The result has been announced by email and published on the Council’s website. Please visit “Result of the Election of Specialized Committees ” for the lists of elected members of the Specialized Committees.
