Deputy Resource Development Manager (Marketing & Event)

 

Job Purpose:

The post leads the Team to support overall strategic management and to ensure successful delivery of diverse, high-impact fundraising event projects and related initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to Manager/Senior Management and lead the overall planning, goal setting, and strategic direction of major fundraising event projects and related  initiatives
  • Maximize revenue generation, cost effectiveness, and operational efficiency across all fundraising & marketing events. This includes leading the end-to-end planning and execution, content preparation, and omni-channel operational support on Direct Mailing, Digital Fundraising, and donor acquisition campaigns
  • Drive and manage corporate sponsorship pitches, donor stewardship, and relationship building with key external partners to secure resources for events
  • Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams, internal departments, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure the smooth implementation of the projects
  • Oversee the evaluation of existing projects/campaigns, giving recommendations to streamline processes, identifying new fundraising channels, and developing innovative project models
  • Formulate comprehensive designs and blueprints for complex projects and events, developing project milestones, budget plans, resources plans, personnel plans, and contingency plans to ensure the project goes smooth
  • Lead project tracking, onsite management, post-event reporting, data analysis, revenue figure presentation, and staff performance evaluation
  • Support the management in the formulation and implementation of new fundraising strategies, and/or growth initiatives

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree holder in related discipline, preferably in Marketing, Communications or Business Development
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience, preferably in large-scale event management and fundraising campaigns
  • Strong abilities in communicating with the management team, and engaging with both internal and external stakeholders/corporate sponsors
  • Positive thinking mindset, upholding can-do spirit and managing to mobilize, mentor, and lead other team members
  • Hands-on experience in team management and leadership is required
  • Prior working experience in NGO will be an advantage
  • Excellent command of both written and oral English, Chinese/Cantonese/ Putonghua

 

Contract Period:   2 years (Renewable)
