Hong Kong Cancer Fund, established in 1987, is the largest cancer support organisation, providing FREE information and groundbreaking psychosocial support to anyone living with or affected by cancer through our network of cancer support centres.  To cope with the increasing unmet needs of cancer patients and care-givers, we are expanding our service and would like to invite dedicated professional to join our dynamic team.  Let’s put care into action so no one faces cancer alone.”

Assistant Service Officer (Self-help Group)

Responsibilities

• Provide support service and training for core members of the self-help and support groups to enhance their operation and development;
• Coordinate Cancer Patient Peer Support Programme for the self-help and support groups at our support centres;
• Support administrative work related to the membership, funding application, budgeting and reports of the self-help and support groups towards the organisation, and
• Shift duties are required.

Requirements

• Degree holder, preferably in social work, social science, administration, or related disciplines, and
• At least 3 years relevant working experience, experience in administrative work, social services, self-help and support groups and volunteer management would be an advantage.
