In recent years, our society has been thinking about how to set up a carer-centred policy to support carers.  The Council will hold a policy seminar on “Community Support on Carers”, aiming at exploring the potential of leveraging community capacity in supporting carers through innovative models.

We have invited speakers to share their experiences in utilizing community capacity to support carers in Hong Kong, and raise suggestions on the development of related models.  We shall engage the participants of the seminar to discuss with the speakers about how the sector may further facilitate community support to the carers through policy reform and service innovation.  Details of the seminar are as follows:
