The population of employed caregivers in Hong Kong is continuously rising, and they bear a double burden, enduring both physical and mental pressure while balancing work and caregiving responsibilities. In recent years, public attention to caregiver issues has significantly increased. More and more corporations recognize that supporting the caregiving needs of their employees is not only an expression of fulfilling social responsibility, but also a key investment in enhancing employee sense of belonging, stability, and productivity.

The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) has always been committed to advocating and promoting a “Caregiver-Friendly” society, and actively acts as a bridge between the social welfare sector and the business sector. We observe that many corporations are willing to provide substantial support to employed caregivers, but may not know where to start or lack channels to access professional service providers.

To respond to the above needs, HKCSS is currently planning to establish a resource bank of “Caregiver Support Services Available for Corporate Purchase”. This move differs from past one-way data collection, aiming to:

1. Organize and showcase the professional services that agencies can provide via a “Corporate Purchase” model.
2. Promote this resource bank to the business sector, corporate Human Resources departments, and management, offering them a clear, reliable procurement option to introduce professional support directly into the workplace.
3. Open up new service models and resources for agencies, transforming professional knowledge into sustainable service solutions that benefit more employed caregivers.

We firmly believe that the agencies possess rich experience and professional knowledge in serving caregivers. We sincerely invite your organization to provide information on relevant services available for corporate purchase.

For easy compilation, please kindly provide the following specific information for each service you can offer:

1. Service Name
2. Service/Product Introduction (Please explain its goals, content, and features)
3. Target Caregivers (e.g., elderly caregivers, disabled persons’ caregivers, SEN student caregivers, etc.)
4. Service Model (e.g., individual/group, online/in-person, lecture/workshop, one-off/series)
5. Suggested Fee Structure (This is for commercial model reference for corporate purchase, e.g., by hour, by session, by headcount, project-based quotation, service package, etc.)
6. Time Required for Service Implementation/ Flexibility (e.g., whether advance reservation is required, whether it can be provided outside office hours)
7. Contact Person and Contact Information (Name, position, phone number, email)

This data collection is of great significance, as it will serve as a tool for us to concretely demonstrate the professional value of the social welfare sector to the business community, and create a win-win-win situation for employed caregivers, corporations, and service organizations.
