Invitation to Seminar on ‘Youth Career Transition’

School-to-work transition has long been one of the major concerns in youth work of the social welfare sector.  Under a more dynamic macro economic environment, career transition could still persist even after the youth step into the labor market and various barriers could be found during the transition process.  How the sector can strengthen support for the youth is a topic worthy of discussion. In order to facilitate the sector to discuss this topic, the HKCSS will organize a seminar on "Youth Career Transition", inviting stakeholders who related to this issue to share their experience, so as to explore the way out with the participants. 2nd Annual Conference on Policy Research and Advocacy (March 18th 2022)

The Hong Kong Council of Social Service is committed to the promotion of service and policy development through research and advocacy. In the past years, the Council has organized conferences and workshops in the theme of research or advocacy to introduce evidence-based practice and different advocacy strategies. Through sharing local frontline experiences, we hope to promote learning transferring and knowledge in the sector. This year the Council is initiating the 2nd Annual Conference on Policy Research and Advocacy, with the topic on Forward and Onward: Challenges and Opportunities in data science and informing social services.
