Launched in 2012, the HSBC Hong Kong Community Partnership Programme(“CPP”) has partnered with the Home Affairs Department, the Social Welfare Department and The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS). CPP aims to inspire district-based community initiatives to foster a more inclusive society. Also, it encourages cross-sector collaboration to address the social needs of local districts and help charities and community organisations in Hong Kong build capacity. In 2026, HKD18 million from The Hongkong Bank Foundation is allocated to support 20 projects under CPP. Since 2020, HKEX Foundation has set up the HKEX Charity Partnership Programme (the Programme) to support impactful community projects that creates structural and system changes, run by local charitable institutions. In partnership with The Hong Kong Council of Social Service, the Programme aims to give back to the community based on four focus areas: Financial Literacy, Social Empowerment, Talent Development and Environmental Sustainability, addressing various social and environmental challenges.   Application Details Date of Application The Programme will accept online application from 2 p.m. on 24 June 2026 to 5 p.m. on 24 July 2026. Eligibility Local charitable institutions that are: registered under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (Cap 112) for at least 3 years (on or before 24 Jul 2023) Funding Amount HKD500,000 to HKD5,000,000 each project Duration of Each Project The duration of each proposed project should be 12, 24 or 36 months.
