The outbreak of the Coronavirus has changed the way we work globally. For this reason, we have invited experts of the legal profession to discuss the impact of the pandemic on NGOs as employers, and to share from a legal perspective the impacts of the policies on combatting the spreads of the Coronavirus in Hong Kong on HR practices.

The Seminar will cover topics such as:  Is COVID-19 a legally prescribed occupational disease? Is there any protection under the Employees’ Compensation Ordinance for employees who contract COVID-19 in the course of their employment? As the COVID-19 vaccination program launches  in Hong Kong, can employers make vaccination compulsory for their employees? How should business travel be arranged  while COVID-19 lasts?
