Background
Mental health is essential to overall well-being, yet many ethnic minority communities in Hong Kong face distinct challenges when accessing care. Cultural and language barriers, stigma, and systemic gaps often make it difficult for individuals to find understanding and appropriate support.

“Mental Health Matters: Centering Ethnic Minority Voices” brings together service users, professionals, and community organizations to raise awareness of these issues and promote culturally competent mental health care. Through first-hand sharing and collaborative discussion, the session seeks to amplify ethnic minority voices, highlight effective practices, and inspire collective action toward a more inclusive and responsive mental health system.
