From Planning to Life Awareness

發布日期: 2025-10-02

Due to aging population in Hong Kong, the public concern over the issues of elderly care, caregiver support, end-of-life care, and arrangements after death is growing. To help the public discuss and plan for life more effectively, The Hong Kong Council of Social Service has compiled a list of life and death education and life management events to be held during the period of 25th of October to 9th November, and is promoting the “Compassionate Fortnight 2025” with multi-disciplinary stakeholders.

As part of this initiative, the HKCSS will host the “From Planning to Life Awareness” on 1st & 2nd November. The event will bring together 17 partners that offer end-of-life services and participating organisations from different sectors. The goal is to encourage the public to focus on life management, build awareness for early planning, and take action to reduce future uncertainty.

The two-day event will feature a variety of sharing sessions and workshops. Also DHC Express, Carer space, elderly service center and end-of-life care service providers will set up booths to introduce their services. Additionally, the HKCSS will set up an exhibition on death literacy and the seven stages of caregiving, providing the public with valuable knowledge. More details will be updated later on the ” From Planning to Life Awareness ” event website.
