The Hong Kong Council of Social Service is committed to the promotion of service and policy development through research and advocacy. In the past years, the Council has organized conferences and workshops in the theme of research or advocacy. Through sharing local frontline experiences, we hope to promote learning and transferring knowledge in the sector.
We are going to organize the 4th Annual Conference on Policy Research and Advocacy, with the topic on Realizing Power of Research in Different Positions of Organization: Adaptation, Development, Innovation. A workshop will be held in the afternoon on the same day. We would like to invite and engage social workers, academia and other professionals to share their experiences and thoughts on their works, and explore how research can support service development in the sector.
