Centre for Harmony and Enhancement of Ethnic Minority Residents (CHEER)
Social Worker

 

Responsibilities:

-To organize and implement youth programmes, integration programmes, groups, consultation and referral services, drop-in service, outreaching service and other programmes/services of the Centre as assigned.
-To assist in managing administrative duties of the Centre.
-To mobilize and connect potential service users.
-To assist in networking the stakeholders to promote CHEER’s services.
-To update statistics and correct records of the service rendered, and help in preparing reports to the funding body.
-Assist in producing promotional materials including leaflets, posters, banners and newsletters of CHEER.

 

Requirements:

-Registered Social Worker.
-Holders of bachelor degree in Social Work recognized by Hong Kong Social Workers Registration Board.
-Relevant working experience in ethnic minority service/social services for at least 1 year.
-Relevant working experiences for people from different ethnicities and cultures are preferable.
-Fluent in reading, writing, speaking and listening Chinese and English.
-Good computer knowledge and skills.
-Employee should have not been convicted of any sexual offences, in Hong Kong or elsewhere, as specified in the Sexual Conviction Record Check Scheme.
