Centre for Harmony and Enhancement of Ethnic Minority Residents (CHEER)
Social Worker

Responsibilities:

－To organize and implement youth programmes, integration programmes, groups, consultation and referral services, drop-in service, outreaching service and other programmes/services of the Centre as assigned.
－To assist in managing administrative duties of the Centre.
－To mobilize and connect potential service users.
－To assist in networking the stakeholders to promote CHEER’s services.
－To update statistics and correct records of the service rendered, and help in preparing reports to the funding body.
－Assist in producing promotional materials including leaflets, posters, banners and newsletters of CHEER.

Requirements:

－Registered Social Worker.
－Holders of bachelor degree in Social Work recognized by Hong Kong Social Workers Registration Board.
－Relevant working experience in ethnic minority service/social services for at least 1 year.
－Relevant working experiences for people from different ethnicities and cultures are preferable.
－Fluent in reading, writing, speaking and listening Chinese and English.
－Good computer knowledge and skills.
－Employee should have not been convicted of any sexual offences, in Hong Kong or elsewhere, as specified in the Sexual Conviction Record Check Scheme.
