Jockey Club Experiential Learning Project for Students with Special Educational Needs

Social Worker

Responsibilities:

－Develop and render services/training programmes to people with intellectual disabilities.

－Identify target service users of the project and allocate resources appropriately.

－Be responsible for networking with potential service users and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

－Registered Social Worker.

－Holder of Bachelor Degree or above in Social Work recognized by Hong Kong’s Social Worker Registration Board for registration.

－1-year social work experience is preferred.

－Relevant experiences in leading adventure-based/virtual reality-based/career and life development activities are preferred.

－Fluent in English and Cantonese.

－Holder of Low Event Certificate/High Event Certificate/Rope Course Certificate/Mountain Craft Certificate/Sport Climbing Certificate is preferred.

－With basic knowledge about VR (Virtual Reality)/AR(Augmented Reality)/SR (Substitutional Reality)/MR (Mixed Reality) and Unity 360 is preferred.

－Employee should have not been convicted of any sexual offences, in Hong Kong or elsewhere, as specified in the Sexual Conviction Record Check Scheme.
