Corporate Communications Executive

 

Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for supporting Communications and Resource Development. S/he is accountable for writing, translation, editing, and production of the agency’s publications, to ensure the editorial content is well written and reflects the agency’s brand positioning and values. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide editorial support for a wide range of publicity materials and publications, including researching, conducting interviews, drafting content, copyediting, and proofreading bilingual materials for the annual report, e-newsletters, agency magazine, and service reports.
  • Support media relations activities, including drafting press materials, managing press invitations, and coordinating press conferences.
  • Monitor news and media coverage, and prepare daily news reports for management.
  • Upload, publish, and manage online content using the agency’s content-management system.
  • Support branding initiatives and event implementation, including venue booking, logistics coordination, sourcing and processing quotations.
  • Handle quotation sourcing and processing, arrange payments, and maintain proper inventory and warehouse records.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for the team’s daily operations, and undertake other ad hoc corporate communications duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in communications, media relations, public relations, or NGO/corporate communications.
  • Strong writing and editing skills in both English and Chinese (including Putonghua); ability to adapt tone for different audiences and platforms.
  • Basic understanding of the media landscape in Hong Kong and digital communication trends.
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) or content management systems is a plus.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
  • Demonstrated interest in humanitarian work, social impact, or public service is highly desirable.
