Communications Officer (3-Years Contract)

Job Duties

• Develop and maintain ImpactHK’s promotional materials in written Traditional Chinese and English, including the website, newsletters, and social media posts to engage the general public and stakeholders
• Contribute to the formulation of social media plans and analysis, and develop social media content that enhances brand exposure
• Assist in the logistics for press relations, including handling media inquiries and interviews, tracking media coverage, and updating media lists
• Support the Communications Manager in developing, executing, and managing brand partnerships and events, proactively building relationships and customizing partnerships to promote the charity’s mission
• Provide internal graphic design support for communications and fundraising needs
• Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

• At least 2–3 years of professional experience in public relations and marketing
• Degree or higher in relevant disciplines, preferably in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese
• Ability to write compelling, data-driven copy
• Strong interpersonal skills and a creative approach to problem-solving
• Analytical with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
