To support designated professionals and related students under the Mandatory Reporting of Child Abuse Ordinance, this free-English-language session would first highlight the Government’s e-learning platform for child protection (https://www.childprotectiontraining.hk), then focus on practical handling skills and scenario-based learning. Embracing the culture of the ethnic minorities, participants will try to apply guiding principles when suspected child maltreatment incidents identified and explore possible actions and follow-up pathways. Lastly, the session also highlights Hong Kong’s child protection service landscape and available training resources. To explore how to further promote medical and social collaboration through the development of social prescribing in Hong Kong, the HKCSS has become one of the supporting organisations of the “Social Prescribing Symposium 2025.” The event will be held on Tuesday, 16 September 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Multi-function Hall I, 25/F, The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups Building, 21 Pak Fuk Road, North Point.
