ICSW North East Asia Regional Conference 2021: Building an Inclusive Welfare Community Where No One Left Behind: Looking Ahead a World after COVID-19 (9 November 2021) ICSW North East Asia Regional Office is going to organize the biennial Regional Conference on 9 November 2021. The purpose of ICSW NEA Regional Conference this year is to share information and exchange opinions about political movement to reconstruct the human being and society separated by COVID 19, and then to build an inclusive social welfare community under the situation of “with COVID-19” and “after COVID-19” as well as social welfare practices. Invited speakers from Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Mongolia and Hong Kong will share the policies and practical cases to overcome the changing pandemic situation, and identify the successful factors which could help reconstruct an inclusive society.   The webinar, “ICSW North East Asia Regional Webinar on COVID-19: Welfare Challenges and Response” was organized by ICSW North East Asia Regional Secretariat on 29 July 2020. The Webinar aimed to facilitate the regional welfare sector to exchange valuable experience and new initiatives in response to the pandemic. The event was moderated by ICSW North East Asia Regional President, Mr. Chua Hoi-Wai.    Six speakers from Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Taiwan were invited to share their insights and experiences in the context of the pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic has hit the world in an unexpected way. The North East Asia (NEA) region is also facing common challenges in this very hard time due to the coronavirus.
