「慈善八達通」電子賣旗籌款項目 及「慈善八達通擴展(先導)計劃」正式完滿結束。  香港社會服務聯會（社聯）與八達通卡有限公司（八達通）於2011年12月共同推出「慈善八達通」電子賣旗籌款項目，讓社福機構或團體可以在社會福利署批准的賣旗日，使用便攜式八達通讀寫器賣旗。自2016年起推行的「慈善八達通擴展(先導)計劃」，進一步把八達通捐款的應用範圍伸延至更多慈善募捐活動，例如獎券義賣、捐款站和其他街頭籌款活動。 自計劃推行而來，多達130間社福機構曾使用過便攜式八達通讀寫器賣旗及其他慈善募捐活動，合共籌得超過120萬元善款。此計劃有效地為社福機構提供了一個便捷的付款途徑，減省社福機構點算硬幣的行政資源和時間，提升籌款效益。為計劃優化現有電子籌款服務，「慈善八達通」電子籌款計劃及「慈善八達通擴展(先導)計劃」已於2020年12月1日起停止接受申請，並將於2021年1月31日正式終止服務。八達通正與社聯研究其他可行的電子籌款工具，繼續為社福機構提供服務。 在此感謝各界多年來對「慈善八達通」計劃的參與和支持，社聯會繼續開拓更多便捷及創新的途徑，亦期待未來與八達通的合作。 ...

The “Community Care Fund Digital Television Assistance Programme” (the Programme) operated by the Council assists eligible analogue TV households to enjoy access to local free TV programme after the switch off of analogue television services on November 30, 2020. Eligible households benefiting from specified social assistance programmese or satisfying income criteria can choose either a set-top box, a 24-inch digital TV set or a 32-inch digital TV set. On-site checking and installation will be completed within 8 weeks after receipt of the application form and supporting documents.
