HSBC Hong Kong Community Partnership Programme 2023 – Result Announcement

Launched in 2012, the HSBC Hong Kong Community Partnership Programme (“CPP”) has been supported by the Home Affairs Department, the Social Welfare Department and The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS). CPP aims to inspire district-based community initiatives to foster a more inclusive society.  Also, it encourages cross-sector collaboration to address the social needs of local districts and help charities and community organisations in Hong Kong build capacity. Invitation to Link Collab Fest – Networking Day

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Link Together Initiatives, we proudly present Link Collab Fest. We aim at facilitating collaboration between charitable organisations, social enterprises and social innovators in Hong Kong. Our goal is to spark innovative ideas for social services that will ultimately benefit our local communities. With "Youth Empowerment" as the theme, we welcome all charitable organisations, social enterprises, or social innovators with experience in promoting community development and services to form teams and participate in the event. The programme consists of networking day, consultation, and proposal submission. Shortlisted teams will have the opportunity to introduce their concepts in person to a judging panel. The winning team will receive a cash prize of HK$100,000 to motivate them to bring the idea to life. 資料由創匯點及其培育的項目提供 The below information is provided by Impact Incubator and its incubatees. 資料由創匯點及其培育的項目提供 The below information is provided by Impact Incubator and its incubatees.           小修繕,大意義 Senior Handyman: Home Repair and Caregiving for elderly         一青一中一拍即合 為有需要長者提供「義修」服務 「一位年過七十兩鬢斑白的婆婆扶住一張鋁梯,另一位七十五歲的婆婆顫顫巍巍地爬上鋁梯修理光管…」「小修繕,大意義」創辦人之一韋寶華(Philip)分享其探訪中最深刻的畫面,「有不少長者因爲擔心無法承擔電工師傅的費用,罔顧安全問題,導致險象環生」。 「小修繕,大意義」眼見社會上長者的家居維修需求日漸龐大,於是凝聚了一群50+退休人士,為獨居、雙老及基層長者,提供簡易家居維修服務及關愛服務。最近更與一站式家居維修服務平台 Papabo 合作,替有需要長者提供專業的「義修」服務。 Papabo 由90後青年黃達豪(Andy)創辦,平台為顧客及師傅配對維修服務,他一次偶爾遇見一位因爲家中冷氣壞了,寧願在麥當勞留宿的長者,從而啓發他推出 PapaCare 計劃,召集具專業維修經驗的義工團隊替有需要人士「義修」。   中青團隊合作求同存異 互補所長 「小修繕,大意義」由50+退休人士組成,大多是土生土長的中年人,而 PapaCare 的創始人則是一名90後的澳洲回流青年,兩者在年紀、背景上截然不同,唯一相同的是想「幫助長者改善家居環境的心」。 Philip 坦言初次與年青人合作,難免會出現分歧,譬如他們的工作模式較爲傳統,而年青人則較為電子化,但在合作過程中漸漸發掘到對方的優點,「年青人的溝通模式快,工作很有效率,今天下午說的事,一個晚上就做好了」。他亦欣賞 Andy 這個年青人不是「得把口」,而是會親自「落手落脚」參與。他更笑言年青人還是有年青人的優勢,「Papabo 有位同事的身高很高,請他幫忙換燈泡連梯子都不需要」。 Philip 指「小修繕,大意義」具備豐富義工統籌經驗及用家招募途徑,卻缺乏科技及硬件配套;反之 Papabo 具備科技平台,卻缺乏統籌經驗及用家分享。「這樣的配合是取長補短,結合雙方專長 」。   以小修繕為切入 鼓勵50+義工及長者彼此關懷 Philip 強調「小修繕」的服務不是要與坊間裝修公司「爭生意」,只是略儘綿力,填補坊間的服務缺口。「有些簡單的維修,譬如更換燈泡、安裝床欄等,一般的裝修公司都嫌太簡單,根本不會接,但往往是這些簡單的維修工作,卻能大大改善長者的生活質素」。他表示由於義工並非專業工程人員,過於複雜或者需要專業牌照才能進行的工程,還是需要交給專業人士。 「小修繕」的服務核心除了為長者維修家居外,更希望能關心長者的心靈需要,籍著與義工交流,讓他們感受到關懷。而人與人之間的交流是相互的,受助長者被關心的同時,50+義工亦同時能感受到長者對其真誠的感謝和贊賞。Philip 稱其「最感動的是能在維修的過程中見證到義工的改變」,他知道坊間對50+人士,尤其男士普遍存在誤解,認爲他們比較孤僻和被動,但其實他們亦埋藏著開朗、細心的一面。「過往曾有一位男義工,初次參與維修服務的時候,一直沉默寡言、默默做事,直到後來開始主動與受助長者聊天,在維修結束的時候更多次追問長者自己做得夠唔夠,儘見其暖男一面」。 問及未來的計劃,Philip希望與 Papabo 合作,電子化已有資料,包括義工及用家評價、透明化收費及加入配對功能等,讓服務普及至更多弱勢群體,為他們創造更舒適、安心的家。   如欲查詢更多計劃詳情,可以瀏覽「小修繕,大意義」的網站或電郵至[email protected]。     瀏覽項目詳情                 「辣薑」(Old Ginger Academy) 「老薑」故事平台鼓勵長者「講好自己的故事」,啟發不同世代探索什麼是「老」,發掘高齡社會的潛能。平台的其中一個項目「辣薑」(Old Ginger Academy)獲社創基金資助,培訓「老薑大使」講故事,成為大學的創意教材,將「老」的多樣化帶入大學課堂。自三月開始,老薑創辦人陳伊敏與十多個機構合作舉辦「老薑有故事」工作坊, 吸引兩百多位長者參與。 首批21名「老薑大使」已完成第一輪培訓、四次大學演講,準備好繼續以故事開啟跨代對話。 如欲了解更多計劃詳情,可以瀏覽我們的Facebook或電郵至[email protected]與我們聯絡。           瀏覽項目詳情                 安心三寶專題講座及見證日 安心三寶的目標是為老年人士和低收入家庭提供網上一站式服務,以合理的價格提供平安三寶等法律文件(平安紙,預設醫療指示,持久授權書)。我們亦提供文件見證服務,例如較早前與紅十字會合作舉辦的「見證日」,為70名有經濟需要的長者訂立三寶。我們期望能與更多機構合作宣揚我們的理念。 如欲查詢更多計劃詳情,可以瀏覽我們的網站或電郵至[email protected]與我們聯絡。     瀏覽項目詳情                 「BEE自家教練計劃」 「BEE自家教練計劃」發展迅速,已經開展到第十五班,服務範圍包括全港十三個地方。 除了與不同社福機構合作開班外,更成功與多間地區康健中心Connect,培養更多地區居民養成健康生活習慣。 如果你們都對BEE自家教練計劃有興趣,歡迎電郵至[email protected]     瀏覽項目詳情                   邁步向前:以資訊科技支援非華語生的幼小銜接計劃 為進一步提升小學中文科老師支援非華語學生的教學水平,及加強非華語學生幼小銜接的家長支援工作。樂施會現透過本計劃提供以下服務: 1. 為中文科小學教師提供中文作為第二語言的培訓課程,學習掌握「動態增潤學習模式(DELM)」及「動語文(mLang)電子學習平台和教學法」; 2. 運用「動態增潤學習模式(DELM)」以幫助初小非華語學生適應小學中文主流課程; 3. 為幼稚園非華語家長提供全方位幼小銜接支援,包括升小家長講座、WhatsApp支援熱線、到校填表服務等。 如欲查詢及了解更多計劃詳情,請致電3120 5133或電郵至[email protected]與計劃團隊聯絡。         瀏覽項目詳情                   The Artemis hk The Artemis hk 致力運用潛水和伙伴系統,擴大殘疾人士和癌症患者的社交圈,幫助他們融入社會。第一期的分享會結束後,我們將在9月16日迎來第二及第三期Workshop! 全新的Workshop將會帶領大家對潛水有更全面的了解,亦讓不同人士互相認識,促進共融。 關注The Artemis的Instagram、Facebook和小紅書賬戶,隨時留意Workshop的進展並及時報名吧!     瀏覽項目詳情                   ...

Operation Santa Claus 2023 (Applications Closed)

Operation Santa Claus (OSC) is an annual charity campaign jointly organised by the South China Morning Post (SCMP) and Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK). It aims to support the Hong Kong community and beyond, through the combined charitable fundraising power of two of the most respected news organisations in the city. Over the past 35 years, it has raised over HK$369 million for over 338 charity projects in Hong Kong. We are now calling for a new round of funding proposals. Non-profit charitable organisations registered in Hong Kong and exempt from tax under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance are eligible to apply. The maximum funding amount per project is HK$1 Million.  We welcome projects focusing on one of these areas: children & youth, elderly, community, physical and mental disabilities, medical or environment and sustainability.  Submission deadline: 17 July 2023 (Monday) at 12 noon.  All submissions must be done online. Finalists will be invited to present their project ideas to the OSC Selection Committee in early September, and application results will be announced in October 2023. An intermediary of the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund (SIE Fund), Impact Incubator of The Hong Kong Council of Social Service cordially invites all current and potential social innovators and social entrepreneurs to join our next Impact Incubator briefing session.
