Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund (SIE Fund) Briefing Session (24 July 2025)
Do you have any innovative ideas that address poverty and social exclusion in Hong Kong? The fund provides funding and other forms of support to help launch impactful social projects into the market. It aims to foster social inclusion and leverage the potential of these projects. The Impact Incubator of The Hong Kong Council of Social Service, an intermediary of the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund (SIE Fund) cordially invites all current and aspiring social innovators and social entrepreneurs to join our upcoming Impact Incubator briefing session. During the session, our team will briefly introduce the new Impact Incubator, highlight key programme features and answer any questions you may have about applying for SIE Fund grant funding through the Impact Incubator. The Impact Incubator continues to support projects at different stages - Scale-up, Growing, and Start-up. Operation Santa Claus 2025: Funding Application Opens on 2 June
Operation Santa Claus (OSC) is an annual charity campaign established jointly by the South China Morning Post and Radio Television Hong Kong in 1988. It is dedicated to cultivating a spirit of giving, love and care throughout Hong Kong. Over the past 36 years, it has raised over HK$396 million for over 364 charity projects in Hong Kong. We are now calling for a new round of funding proposals. To better identify and align with OSC’s mission to support smaller charities, an organization will be eligible to apply if it Is a non-profit charitable organisation registered in Hong Kong and exempt from tax under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance. Has a current Certificate of Incorporation. Does not receive Social Welfare Department major subvention allocation Does not exceed in the previous financial year annual expenditure of HK$15 million. To encourage collaboration, applications requesting HK$600,000 or above are highly recommended to include at least two organisations working together. HKEX Foundation has set up the HKEX Impact Funding Scheme (the Scheme) to support local recognised Social Enterprises (SEs). The Scheme, in partnership with The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS), aims to support SEs to develop innovative, vital and scalable solutions based on four focus areas: Financial Literacy, Social Empowerment, Talent Development and Environmental Sustainability, serving a wide spectrum of people in need in our community and addressing various social and environmental challenges.
