The Hong Kong Council of Social Service will host the Inaugural Global Ageing Impact Summit [Press Release, 14 August 2026] The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) will host the inaugural Global Ageing Impact Summit (“GAIS”) in 2027. A new global platform mobilizing action for healthier, more inclusive and resilient ageing societies. The inaugural "Global Ageing Impact Summit" will take place from 9 to 12 November 2027 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, alongside HKCSS’s flagship event, the "Gerontechnology and Innovation Expo cum Summit" (“GIES”) from 10 to 13 November. GAIS will bring together governments, policymakers, researchers, health and social care leaders, civil society, investors, innovators and industries from around the world to shape responses to demographic shifts of this in ways that improve lives and create sustainable social and economic impact. As an impact-oriented platform, the Summit, alongside with the Expo (GIES), connects policy, evidence, innovation, investment and implementation. Its ambition is to move beyond discussion to examining what is working, what can be scaled and what can be adapted across countries and regions.
