To-gather Parents Resource Centre (Kwun Tong)
Programme Worker (Half-time)

Responsibilities:

－Identify and engage target clients, and develop promotional plans to introduce services to them.
－Establish community contacts with the stakeholders and other cooperating parties.
－Assist in the production of publicity/ promotion materials in EM languages.
－Assist in the administrative work for centre.
－Plan and implement groups and programs for families with special needs but not limited to ethnic minorities.

Requirements:

－5 subjects including Mathematics, Chinese Language and English Language (“Syllabus B” before 2007), at Level 2 or Grade E, or above in HKCEE; or 5 subjects including Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics, at level 2 or above and 2 other subjects (e.g. New Senior Secondary subjects at level 2 or above, Applied learning subjects at attained level or above, and other language subjects at grade E or above in HKDSE); or an equivalent qualification assessed by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications.
－Relevant working experience in running programs, promotion and community networking.
－Relevant working experiences in rehabilitation or ethnic minority services are preferable.
－Proficient in Computer applications.
－Preference will be given to applicants who have experience in working with SEN children and EM service users.
－Be able to communicate effectively in English, both in written and spoken, and be proficient in Bahasa, Indonesia, Nepali, Urdu, Punjabi, Tagalog, Thai, Hindi, or Vietnamese, in written and spoken forms.
－Outgoing, good team player, good interpersonal skills, self-motivated, responsible.
－Required to work during evenings, weekends, or Sundays as needed.
