Head of Human Resources / Senior Human Resources Manager (Ref.: HHR/SHRM(HRO)/11/09/26/HKCSS)

 

Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will report to the Assistant General Secretary and be responsible for leading the Association’s full spectrum of Human Resources functions. He/She will provide strategic leadership while maintaining a hands-on approach to HR operations, driving cross multi-disciplinary professional HR initiatives, optimizing HRIS capabilities, and implementing automated workflows to enhance operational efficiency excellence.
  • Lead, guide and supervise HR team in the provision of human resources services in recruitment and appointment, benefits administration and personnel services, performance management as well as well as manpower planning etc.
  • Lead the revision of HR policies and procedures, including the evaluation and preparation of policy papers, while ensuring the effective implementation and compliance of HR policies.
  • Collaborate with senior management to shape and execute the people agenda by strengthening talent pipelines and enhancing organizational capabilities.
  • Drive employee engagement and foster a positive organizational culture that aligns with the Association’s values.
  • Attend necessary meetings with different stakeholders
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • University degree in Human Resources Management or other related disciplines;
  • Minimum 10 years’ solid managerial experience in human resources, preferably gained in NGOs;
  • Experience in policy formulation and implementation preferably in NGO, public sector or tertiary institutions;
  • Well-versed with Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and other related ordinances;
  • Be able to work independently and under tight timelines;
  • Be meticulous, flexible, analytical and with high level of integrity;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Lower qualification or less working experience may be considered to be appointed as Senior Human Resources Manager
  • Work Location: Tai Po
