Fairwood Catering Voucher Registration (Phase 2) Launches to Support Affected Wang Fuk Court Residents in Tai Po HKCSS Caring Company Scheme – Support Fund for Tai Po Wang Fuk Court [Press Release -- 30 June, 2026] — To foster the spirit of mutual aid and continuing support for the affected households of Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, Fairwood has donated catering vouchers worth a total of HK$2 million through the HKCSS Caring Company Scheme – Support Fund for Tai Po Wang Fuk Court. A total of 40,000 sets of vouchers (each valued at HK$50) will be distributed in phases over a year. To concentrate resources on assisting affected households, the first phase of 10,000 sets was successfully distributed in January 2026 to participating transitional housings and partner organisations within the Tai Po district. The second phase is now launching to distribute a further 10,000 vouchers (valued at HK$50 each). The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) and Rotary International District 3450 (Rotary District 3450) collaborate on a "Resource and Service Matching" project Providing flexible support to residents affected by the Tai Po Fire incident [Press Release, June 23, 2026] In response to the ongoing support needs following the Tai Po Fire incident, the HKCSS has maintained close cooperation with Rotary District 3450 and other cross-sector partners to continuously promote community support and resource matching. To more effectively connect social welfare organizations, Rotary Clubs, businesses, and various stakeholders, and to facilitate the matching of social services and material support, the HKCSS and Rotary District 3450 will soon launch a "Resource and Service Matching" collaboration program. This program specifically addresses the practical needs related to the Tai Po fire, enabling frontline social welfare organizations to more flexibly identify and match necessary support. For example, organizations can identify and assess residents' urgent needs, such as seeking support in mental health. Through the matching platform, Rotary Clubs can leverage their extensive networks to find relevant resources, mobilizing professional medical personnel and business partners within their networks to provide assistance.
