Nursing Officer (Ref. NO(SMO)/16/04/25/HKCSS)
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate health care services, activities, and programmes;
- Assess the needs of residents and the nursing team;
- Communicate with medical and para-medical personnel on health conditions and special care required for the residents;
- Plan, coordinate and evaluate a training programme for the nursing team, volunteers, and staff;
- To assist in overseeing the provision and arrangement of care services in the Association’s Child and Adult Support Services, Adult Services and Community Support Services
- Coordinate, supervise and provide appropriate support to frontline nurses and health workers for continuous quality improvement in service units
Requirements:
- Degree holder or above in nursing care or other related disciplines.
- A minimum of 10 years working experience with at least 5 years at supervisory or managerial level; preferable with experience working for people with intellectual disabilities
- Solid operation and management experience in the healthcare or medical services industry;
- Prior experience in public services and non-governmental organizations is a definite advantage;
- Independent, self-motivated, and be able to work under pressure;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
