The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation (hereunder as ‘HKSR’) is a pioneer in rehabilitation dedicated to providing holistic and personalized services to empower persons with disabilities, chronic illnesses or challenges of aging to lead fulfilling lives, and to advocate for an inclusive society.  We are a non-governmental organization receiving subvention from the government and funds from private donors and other sources.  We invite people with the heart and passion to join us in realizing our social mission.

District Health Centre (DHC) aims to provide primary healthcare services including health promotion, assessment and patient empowerment program to enhance the public awareness on disease prevention and the capacity in the self-management of health through the public-private partnership.

Health Promoter (Eastern District Health Centre)

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for the membership registration and activities inquiry in DHC
• Divert members to appropriate personnels
• Distribute health information materials
• Assist in preparing health promotion and education activities
• Responsible for the daily operation, service and administrative work of the centers
• Carry out any other duties or ad hoc tasks as assigned by Supervisors

Requirements:

• Secondary or Diploma education level
• Minimum 1 year working experience in related health and social service
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Mature, self-initiative and innovative
• Proficiency in use of IT technology
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Shift duty including 1-2 days night shift until 9:00 p.m. per week is required
• Immediate availability is preferred

Work Location: Eastern District

The successful candidate will normally be appointed on contract terms.  Renewal of contract will be subject to the service/operational needs of the department and the candidate’s performance.
