Corporate Communications Manager

 

Job Purpose:

The Manager works closely with the Head of Communications to lead the development and execution of corporate communications duties for the purpose of enhancing the publicity exposure, branding and managing crisis. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and measure a comprehensive corporate communications strategy aligned with the Agency’s mission;
  • Plan and execute high-impact corporate events, press conferences, and brand experiences that elevate the company’s profile;
  • Proactively develop and maintain a robust crisis communications plan; and lead communications efforts during sensitive issues;
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing communications team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement;
  • Oversee the departmental budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources;
  • Proactively cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts and industry influencers to secure positive and strategic coverage; and
  • Collaborate closely with internal services to ensure message alignment and amplify Agency’s

 

Requirements:

  • University degree holder, preferable in communications, journalism, translation or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years’ post-graduation relevant work experience, in which at least 3 years at managerial level preferable in communications, brand management, and event management
  • Excellent knowledge and practical skills on event management and crisis management, including management of people, finance and resources
  • Prompt response to the digital world and good market insight
  • Strong sense of responsibility, mature, detail-oriented with innovative mindsets
  • Excellent command of both written and oral English, Chinese/Cantonese/Putonghua
