The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation (hereunder as ‘HKSR’) is a pioneer in rehabilitation dedicated to providing holistic and personalized services to empower persons with disabilities, chronic illnesses or challenges of aging to lead fulfilling lives, and to advocate for an inclusive society.  We are a non-governmental organization receiving subvention from the government and funds from private donors and other sources.  We invite people with the heart and passion to join us in realizing our social mission.

District Health Centre (DHC) aims to provide primary healthcare services including health promotion, assessment and patient empowerment program to enhance the public awareness on disease prevention and the capacity in the self-management of health through the public-private partnership.

Executive Director (Eastern District Health Centre)

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the operation and strategic development of the services, including external liaison and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders for synergising service impact and effectiveness
• Act at a person-in-charge responsible for liaising with the Health Bureau and community partners in centre and services and related matters
• Formulate strategies and network with different medical and community partners for service delivery and resources development
• Monitor overall budget, service quality and output
• Responsible for overall management and development of the DHC project
• Lead and support synergies with other services/ units of the organization
• Perform the tasks as assigned by the organization

Requirements:

• Tertiary education in medical, healthcare, community service or other related disciplines. Degree holder in related disciplines is preferred
• Minimum 10 years of administrative experience in supervisory positions, in the fields of public administration in the Government or public sector, medical, healthcare, community service operations or other similar fields
• Experience in patient education and community health and exposure in NGO or sizeable organization an advantage
• Strong analytical power with good leadership, supervisory, people and management skills
• Mature, independent, detail-oriented and self-motivated with good interpersonal skills
• Good team player, committed and self-motivated with multi-tasking ability
• Passion and dedication to serve people with disabilities and older persons
• Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written Chinese and English
• Immediate available is highly preferable.
